Edie has recently finished and published her book, Light in Blue Shadows. You can buy it at amazon and the other usual haunts, or visit her website.
My New favorite song is "Good Morning Coffee" by Greg Brown. (lyrics)
Due to the suicide of my Nikon, I have reluctantly bought a new d-cam. It's a Fujifilm E-510, 5 megapixel, and acceptable. I don't like it very much, and it's not just because I want a digital SLR and can't afford one. Why don't I like my E-510?
When I return to the San Francisco Bay Area in September, I'm going to need some sort of more normal employment. If you are interested in hiring me, please have a look at my resume.
I bought a new sport bike! Isn't she pretty? 2002 Honda CBR F4i
I graduated from the University of California at Berkeley in December! Five long years, and all I got was this stupid T-shirt. Oh yeah, and that piece of paper. BA in Cognitive Science with a minor in Computer Science. Neat place, UCB.
I recently met the people that run Bookfinder.com. They're pretty neat folks, and run a very nice website. It's useful for finding old books or used books on many different websites. A must for any bibliophile.
I don't like most TV much. I think 99% of the time people spend watching TV could be much better spent doing more productive, entertaining, or educational activities. My current favorite alternatives include writing perl (skipool, aargh), riding Lexi, reading books, and craming french into my small mind. I have to admit that I do go over to my friend's house and watch Buffy once a week, but that's it. I encourage you to watch less TV.
Here is my old home page. It will never be updated, but is still here for archival purposes.
