For my 25th birthday, I wanted to get out of the City. Well, I got prety far out. I went to Spring Lake in the Sequoia National Park with Dave, Seth, Will, and Joe.
This was Seth's first camping trip; he did admirably. It was no walk in the park either, we started at 7,000', and hiked up to the pass at 11,000'. We crossed over, and went down towards Spring Lake, which is at about 9,500'. We camped up the hill a bit, somewhere around 10,000'.
The next day we all hiked back up to Glacier pass. Joe, Will, and Seth hiked out. Dave and I went up to the peak in between Spring Lake, Columbine Lake, and Cyclamen Lake. There's one picture there of me on top of that peak. From there, Dave went down around the three lakes and I went back to camp to spend the day in contemplative thought. It was really a fabulous day.
All the photos in the middle of this page I hoped to combine into a panarama. I came close with the printed photos but I lack the skill and the time to use Photoshop or the Gimp to merge the electronic versions and match colors and everything. It would look awesome if I could get it done though...
